چکیده
Identification of Escherichia coli and Salmonella sp. In Several Plantation Products, the aim is to explain results identification test E. on plantation products. The research was carried out with 4 treatments 2 replications. Each replication consisted 5 dilutions. used were cocoa powder, compost, water lettuce in selective growing media (EMBA SSA). parameters observed see whether there or that grew four samples, number colonies color changes occurred as well gas bubbles produced fermentation sugars (glucose, sucrose lactose). Based results, it found not present powder samples EMBA SSA media. compost sample, bacteria media, but did grow Lettuce showed while bacteria. Meanwhile, coli, other And Shigella grow. such glucose, lactose, yellow are gas/air bubbles. This shows can ferment carbohydrates produce gas.

Identification of Anise (Pimpinella anisum L.) Essential Oil Compounds and Investigation of its Effect on Some Foodborne Pathogens: Bacillus cereus, Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli O157: H7and Salmonella typhimurium
Background and Objectives: Nowadays, use of essential oils in food preservation is popular by researchers not only as antimicrobial agents but also as replacements for synthetic harmful preservatives. Objectives of this study were extraction and identification of Anise essential oil (AEO) compounds as well as assessment of the oil antimicrobial properties on four Gram-negative and Gram-positive...
متن کاملCloning and sequencing of ompf Salmonella typhi Salmonella ompf gene in Escherichia coli Origami
Background and Aim: Salmonella Typhi belongs to the family Enterobacteriaceae, gram-negative bacilli and causes gastrointestinal diseases such as typhoid. This bacterium has a special structure and various genes, including the ompf gene (outer membrane protein). Recent studies have shown the possibility of using ompf in the development of a diagnostic tuberculosis vaccine. Therefore, the aim of...
متن کاملSusceptibility of Escherichia coli, Salmonella sp. and Clostridium perfringens to organic acids and monolaurin
The antimicrobial activity of fatty acids, monolaurin, citric, succinic, fumaric, malic and lactic acid was determined in cultures of two strains of Escherichia coli, three strains of Salmonella sp. and two strains of Clostridium perfringens. Antimicrobial activity was expressed as minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) that prevented growth and glucose utilization in treated cultures. Caprylic...
متن کاملInhibitory Effects of Lactobacillus salivarius and Lactobacillus crispatus Isolated from Chicken Gastrointestinal Tract on Salmonella enteritidis and Escherichia coli Growth
Probiotics are live cultures of microbes; often lactic acid bacteria, but also some other species, which when fed to animals, improve their health and growth through altering the intestinal microbial balance. In the present research, healthy chickens’ gastrointestinal (GI) tracts were screened for the presence of lactic acid bacteria with probiotic properties. The probiotic properties of the is...
